I bought this after the spain blackout and i realized that if something similar were to happen to my country that i would be completely in the dark in terms of information. This was a great purchase — you can tell the radio is good quality, it’s heavy!! I also bought it during the summer sale so it was an even better value. I tested it out and it worked perfectly right out of the box. No battery needed, the sound quality was great. The flashlight light was very bright, and there are actually 2 lights — one as a flashlight and one as a reading lamp. I recommend this to everyone to have in an emergency supply kit and i am thinking of buying more to give as gifts to friends so they are prepared for emergencies.

It surprised me pleasantly, it works very well, both the radio and the lights, it charges perfectly in the sun. I chose this model because it has all 3 types of charging: plug-in charging, solar charging, and manual crank charging, so you have all the options in case of an emergency that lasts longer than expected. It’s also very good that you can choose which load to use, whether it’s batteries or the rechargeable solar battery and plugged in. Very useful, it will become an important part of my emergency kit.
